Is The Ancient Stone Forest World Heritage Tourism Value And Display

After secondary development, the Naigu stone forest has been opened to visitors.Based on the fact that the Naigu stone forest is a world natural heritage exhibition place, the thesis evaluated the tourism value of it first, then investigated the experience in tourists'travels in Naigu stone forest and builded service system for environment interpretation. In the final, it introduced some display methods for tourism.As a a world natural heritage, the tourism values of the Naigu stone forest can be described from the following two aspects. The first one was to analys the aesthetic value of Naigu stone forest based on the ancient and modern literature history, including natural aesthetic and cultural aesthetics. The Four Periods of human being's appreciation for natural beauty, including natural worship, symbol of virtue, causes comfortable and moves toward diversification, have been confirmed in the research of cultural esthetics on Naigu stone forest. The second one was to tudy the geological value of the Naigu stone forest on the basis of the internal and external research results, including lithology, shape, spatial distribution, karst caves and groundwater systems.This paper made a research and analysis on the touristers'experience using the ASEB grid method. The result proposed that the exhibition of Naigu stone forest should contain the tour experience and scientific popularization education function. It also made a qualitative judgments and guidance to the exhibition.After analysing the interpretative system types and their internal factors, the thesis consider that the exhibition of Naigu stone forest should return to the three essential basic elements, which including audience, resources and media. A general environmental interpretation pattern for Naigu stone forest, refining from the interpretation equation of the U.S. National Park Service (NPS), built the environment interpretation service system which contains resource value segmentation, visitor experience division and application of interpretation techniques.Finally, the thesis made a detail description of expositional methods for the tourism value of Naigu stone forest as a natural heritage from three aspects of environmental interpretation service system. The fine segmentation of resource value is equal to the researching of how to enhance the cultural aesthetics and geological science. The experience division for visitor can be divided into different interpretative optimization for different tourists and how to supply a characteristic experience for tourists who visited the Naigu stone forest. The application of the interpretation techniques include the choice of commentary medium, methods of interpretation and the service system.Compare with those centuries-old national parks overseas, the stone forest landscape and famous scenery has a younger development process since it has listed as a world geology park, which indicate that it needs to refer other successful projects. It should fully utilize the environmental interpretation methods and simulate the patterns of other world-known scenic areas reasonably. It needs to make a high level and higher standard exhibition plan according to the characteristics of Naigu stone forest. The thesis is an active exploration for the exhibition of the Naigu stone forest, which has practical significance of improving the interpretation method and possess some guiding to other tourist attractions'exhibition planning in China.
