Developing technology innovation in enterprises is important for the construction of China's "innovative country". To a large extent, the improvement of the ability and level of innovation depends on technology innovation talent in the enterprises. In order to maintain good working enthusiasm and positive work attitude of technology innovation talent, it is necessary to give them effective incentive. At present, there are many studies of technology innovation and incentive at home and abroad, but few studies combined them together, the systematic study of incentive mechanism for technology innovation talent appears to be less in particular and there is operational insufficiency in the existing research. This thesis views these questions as a basic starting point and focuses on the study of technology innovation incentive mechanism and incentive methods.Based on the analysis of relevant factors of encouraging talent in enterprises and these characteristics of technological innovation talent' behavior and psychology, this thesis, from the incentive process and several aspects closely-related to human resource management, puts forward a dynamic model of incentive mechanism, which includes: building long-term career development plans for technology innovation talent, implementing their career management, and using team management, performance appraisal and pay administration for innovation talent in the process.On the other hand, in order to make the incentive mechanism more operational in practice, the smooth implementation of the incentive mechanism also needs the supporting incentive methods. So this thesis also studies on these methods. Through comparative analysis of these methods about innovation individual and team, this thesis designs a new type of incentive method--the share approach based on EVA about project. The theoretical bases of the method are property rights of human capital, EVA, the types of technology innovation and team management. Technology innovation talent as human capital should participate economic profit distribution in enterprises. The method chooses EVA as measurement for its advanced concept, because it clearly considers and calculates the opportunity cost of project investment. In order to enhance its relevance, this thesis also designs different standards for the distribution according to the difference between the types of project.In the case study, at first, this thesis summarizes the status quo of technology innovation talent' incentive in Yunnan Copper Group and analyzes the incentive-related factors. And then this thesis applies the model of the incentive mechanism of technology innovation talent in enterprises, analyzes the lack of the incentive mechanism of technology innovation talent in Yunnan Copper Group and puts forward some suggestions for improvement. In the choice of incentive methods, for the actual situation of Yunnan Copper Group, this thesis selects three incentive methods for the selection of enterprises, which are technology equity, virtual stock options and the share approach based on EVA about project.
