Research On Tourism Development Of Performing Arts Sector Of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Up till now China has been topped the most preventive lists of intangible cultural heritages accredited by UNESCO. In recent years, intangible cultural heritage has caught much attention from all walks of life,while we can not cover the fact that almost all the intangible heritages have been facing a survival crisis.In the future years,the safeguarding and salvage will remain an arduous task for us. Among the diversified methods of the safeguarding and salvage of intangible cultural heritages,tourism development is of far-reaching impact.It not only provides a bridge between people and intangible cultural heritages,but also a platform to publicize and promote the understanding and acceptance of some intangible cultural heritages.Tourism development is suitable for the performing arts which are at distinct advantages of policies, markets and tourist resources.Based on comprehensive analysis of the current scholar research at home and abroad, the thesis adopts the relative theories on anthropology, sociology, folk tourism and sustainable development of theory, and analyzes in the way of logical,interdisciplinary and investigative research. In the light of the tourism development of performing arts, the thesis takes Chaozhou Opera, one of the performing arts of intangible cultural heritages for example, suggests the basic contents and models for tourism development after providing a basic introduction of the characteristics,transmission challenges and favourable conditions for the tourism development of Chaozhou Opera.
