| Along with the development of supply chain management, purchasement, as one of critical node of supply chain management, plays an important role in the enterprise cost reduction and its competitiveness enhancement. Especially for manufacturer, as the purchasement cost account for 40%-60% of total product cost, the control of purchasing cost is the fundamental guarantee to increase enterprise capability of making profit. However, there are still several enterprises who fail to place an importance to purchasing management it deserved, and have misunderstanding on the cognition of it till now:on the one hand, they have no knowledge of what the new characteristic and requirements of purchasement management while comparing with traditional one, as the organization and management pattern of enterprise have been changed under supply chain environment. On the other hand, they also have no idea what the new challenges purchasement management will confront with while the supply chain management is bring forward good opportunities for it.Supplier selection and evaluation issue is one of the most important subjects, and also has great significance for the research of control of purchasement cost. One qualified supplier will give obvious assistant to reduce purchasement cost and enhance enterprise competitiveness.Therefore, supplier selection and evaluation is the priority of the priorities in control of purchasement cost. Furthermore, because the major issue that economical purchasing order quantity concerns is how the purchasing department make decision when to purchase,what to purchase and how much to purchase in order to minimize the enterprise total cost and maximize profits, the economical purchasing order quantity issue is also conductive to optimize the collocation of various resource and formulate the strategy of purchasement process in reason. Accordingly, this paper deploys discourse mainly based on above 2 aspects. The main content of this paper can be described as follows:1)Introducing the background and significance of this paper, reviewing current research situation of control of purchasement cost from home and abroad, looking forward the development trend in future, and expatiating the content and frame configuration of this paper2) Elaborating the concept and theory of supplier selection and evaluation,economical order quantity and volume discount, which lay the groundwork for further thorough discourse3)Analyze the current situation of control of purchasement cost in PT and issues it brought; then bringing forward that there are 2 main factors to improve the control of purchasement cost:the system construction for supplier selection and evaluation and economical order quantity4) Designing a process of supplier selection and evaluation which is combining PT current state, then building up the system of it and defining corresponding weight for each key merit with adoption of AHP analyzing method, finally, applying above system and its merit to do performance appraisal for exiting supplier5) Analyzing the issue of economical order quantity. Firstly, making use of ABC taxonomy to assort main product material in order to delimit the range of material required critical control; and then set up economical order model found on "volume discount"; using such model to calculate the optimal order quantity for major product material which will minimize the total costThis paper aims to raise the awareness of enterprises to purchasement and to guide them to establish correct purchasement management. In addition, it is provided with directive significance to purchasement cost reduction through supplier selection and evaluation system and economical purchasing order quantity. |
