In recent years, the computer image processing is more and more important in the image correlation domain. But because the image processing software itself is difficult to be expanded, does not suit some special domain's demand, so the paper designs a set of completely independent image processing system and elaborates its application in the digital mine. The paper introduces two partial contents in the digital image processing system: first, the image to image processing, realizing the basic operations module, the edits module, the toolboxes module and the filters mirrors module function. The paper mainly researches the image overturn, the image reduction and enlargement, the image free stretch, the ant line etc, proposing the new algorithm to the image free stretch. The old classical algorithm only realized the quadrangle image to the quadrangle image free stretch. This algorithm can realize the N (N>3) sides shape image to the M (M≥N) sides shape image free stretch. This part of content mainly applies in the texture chart of the 3D models. Second, the image to non-image processing, realizing the primary image processing, the image filter processing, the image edge detection and the high-level image processing four modules function. The primary image processing mainly includes the image gradation, the image histogram and the image threshold value selection etc basic operation. The high-level image processing mainly includes the image region mark, the image area computation, the image outline tracing, the image small region elimination and the image vectorizaton etc high-level operation. For the image filter processing, the image edge detection and the image threshold value selection, the paper analyzes many kinds of algorithms of them through experiments. Improving the algorithm of the image region mark, the image outline tracing and the image vectorization etc. The result of the outline extraction is more accurate though the operations. This part of content mainly applies in the image noise elimination, the image Characteristic information extraction and the image vectorization etc.
