Research Of Embedded Software Testing Based On Bts

With the rapid development of computer hardware technology, software radio technology is aaplied in mobile communication system more and more widely, its basic idea is based on a common, standard, modular hardware platform, and it implements the kinds of functions for the radio through the software programming. Thus the quality of software plays a key role in the system quality, and also for the embedded software testing.Embedded software has its own testing process because of its real time and special use features. Software testing strategy concludes static testing and dynamic testing according to whether running the program itself or not. Usually we use static document analysis method in requirement analysis, and use dynamic testing in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and validation testing.Traditional V model can't meet the needs with further research. In this paper I propose improved V model, compare with tradition model, improved V model modified regression testing, put up with parallelism feature in each testing stage. Also put up with testing idea of beginning with requirement. Embedded software structured testing method include four elements: lifecycle, infrastructure, technology and organization, the four elements are validity in different testing method. Base on improved V model, put up with the idea of embedded software structured testing method use in V model.System testing plays an especially important role in the whole testing process. In this paper we discuss the idea of embedded software structured testing method and improved V model used in BTS by special cases, include performance testing and functional testing.
