| The GIS is one of the most important parts of information industry and information science. In the application of GIS,"data input"is affecting its development as one of the bottle-necks. Now, Paper-made relief maps are still the main data resource of GIS. How to transform the relief maps into high quality digital map is a very hard technical problem to solve.Affecting from Factors of equipment and breadth width, it is very common to use the method of divided-breadth and divided-piece. The process of obtaining relief map's images that have been scanned is the attenuation course of information quality. It is in dire need to solve the problems that how to maintain high quality digital images and stitch image after scanning. The discourse discusses relief map scanning and image stitching.In the course of relief map scanning, the discourse discusses the selecting of scanner and the tactics that we should use. The aim is reducing the loss of image and keeping high quality.The discourse studied the adopted mathematic models in the process of image stitching, analyzed advantages and disadvantages of all arithmetic. The discourse use based on matching stitching method as image matching standard method. The discourse use improved thought to remove the defect of standard method.In the viewpoint of work, we designed the divided-pieces of scanning and stitching image system under the platform of VC.net.During the system function's design, we consider how to increase the time efficient. We strictly analyzed the root reason, which restrict computing duration of arithmetic, and construct an improved arithmetic. The system uses modular design and humanity design. We fulfilled the mended stitching arithmetic during the system carrying out. The advantage of the system is to increase the display efficiency, display velocity and optimizing display impression.The system has been used in the production. |
