As embedded systems are widely used in aerospace, military, life monitoring and soon, the dependability of embedded system is crucial. So the designing and implementa-tion technique of dependability of embedded system is one of the most important researchfields. The high dependable embedded computer system(HDECS) means the system hascharacteristics of high safety&security, high availability, high reliability, high maintain-ability and high robustness. Kinds of especial design techniques must applied, includingfault tolerant and security techniques.Based on the hardware of HDECS, the key techniques of HDECS are analyzed, in-cluding single board computer (SBC) redundancy technique, redundant power, mother-board management and so on. According to the hardware of the SBC, this thesis portedLinux to it, developing of drivers and applications. With the support of operating system,SBC works well.First, bootloaderisdesignedandimplemented, withdescribingtheconcept, thefunc-tions and the framework of bootloader. Then the key techniques of porting is summarized.AndμCLinuxisportedtoSamsungS3C44B0X-basedSBC,cuttingoutunnecessarymod-ules without the lack of functional. In order to solve communication and synchronizationbetween SBC and main board, a device is developed. For safety requirements, the in-tegritycertificationandself-destructionofSBC,encryption-decryptionalsoimplemented.A good user interface is provided by the porting of MiniGUI.For testing the functions of SBC, triple-modular redundant and integrity certifica-tion et al are integrated. With the help of main board and test case, the test of SBC isaccomplished.
