Organophosphorus pesticides are widely used in Agriculture currently.They are used to kill pests and prevent the diseases of crops and trees effectively because of their good efficacy.However, they bring the large hazards to human's health, the safety of food and the environmental protection.Most of them have a very strong toxicity on human and livestock.And they can lead to a serious disease ,because organophosphorus pesticides can easily get into the body through contacting the skin and breathing, etc. If there is a portable, the easily operating and cost-effective equipment, which is also able to finish the on-site inspection and on-site processing data to the organophosphorus pesticides residues accurately and quickly, we can effectively prevent the hazards of organophosphorus pesticides.The design of handheld terminal PDA hardware and software system which is based on hand-held ARM is such a device.Organophosphorus pesticides were often detected on the site.The raditional PC is unable to do on-site inspection and on-site data processing obviously because of its large size and carried inconveniently.The design of handheld terminal PDA system involved in this article bases on ARM can be offered the backend data processing and the displaying platform, which are used to on-site detection of organic phosphorus pesticide. It is powerful, various peripherals, high scalable, and can provide an friendly users'interface features through the LCD with a touchscreen.Acording to the method of the design of the embedded system, the functions and features of the system firstly are analyzed, and then the overall designs are put forward On this basis and by comparing to a variety of common microprocessors and embedded operating systems, the S3C2410A microprocessor made by Samsung and Windows CE developed by Microsoft are the defined as cores of hardware and software platform.The core system including S3C2410A microprocessor and SDRAM, Nand Flash, the power circuit and the reset circuit is designed on the hardware platform, and the peripheral circuits including the UART interface circuit, the USB interface circuit, the SD card interface circuit, the LCD interface circuit with a touch screen and the JTAG interface circuit is also designed. The structure of hardware platform is more rational, more functionaland more scalable, and taken as a useful reference of the development of the hardware of other embedded systems.BasIing on the hardware platform,the architecture of the Windows CE operating system and development process is analyzed, and BSP and the serial port driver and SD card driver are developed.In the endt SDK is exported, And at the same time the construction of Windows CE operating systemand the process of migrating to the hardware platformare detailed descriptied. Finally the application tools on the the Windows CE operating system is introdused in the article , and overall structure of software applications usd in organic phosphorus pesticide detection system and achievemet to modules are detailed introdused. The software achieves the funcions of the interactive interfaces, the data transmission, the waveform display and the data storage.The environment debugging the system is established at the end of the article to and the hardware and software system is debuggepd.And the reliability and feasibility of the system design is verified by comparing the waveform which is the results of running application to the data graph drawed by MATLAB in the PC.
