Students'household registration management plays an important part in the daily administration of the college. As a newly-established college, annually more than 600 non-local new students must have registered residence and a total of 2,400 non-local new students must be subject to the household registration management in Century College. How to use advanced computer techniques to enhance the management of household registration of the century college is an important issue we are confronted now. In order to improve the office efficiency of Century College and improve data management and effectiveness, developing household registration management system can be a fundamental solution to the backwardness of the current management, thus shifting from the present data storage methods like paper records of various tables, and hand-check statistics to scientific management of computer. The creation of the system facilitates the comprehensive improvement of the work like data entry, query, management, etc, and preparation for archiving. Analyzed from a microscopic point of view, the establishment of the system plays an active role in standardizing and perfecting data management, as well as improving data management practices. Therefore, this system development is of great significance.With regard to the application of Century College Household Registration Management system, from the household registration business requirements and the analysis of business process of household registration, this thesis first determines reasonable residence permit and moving-out process and conducts the requirement analyses step by step. Secondly, followed by the analysis of the design process, it takes into account the educational affair management system and employment information and other relevant student information system, and designs system process by making full use of the existing data and statistics, which makes the residence permit and moving-out process increasingly rational. Thirdly, with its design and development, the system devises different privileges to satisfy the users' various requirements to log in, query, and modify residence and demographic information in a timely manner by using this system, which significantly reduces the repeated and complex manual labor and realizes the real paperless office. The system adapts to the needs of the development of students management work and provides a good students'information platform for the college at all levels, as well as provides a solid theoretical basis for the subsequent and upgrading system.This topic has been in trial operation phase, and it is in good test.
