| With the increase of mobile customer and service kind, pressure of Business & Operation Support System becomes large. On November of 2008, huge database resource completion trigger oracle's bug. But according to oracle's product service life cycle, database 9.2.0.6 version cannot be extended supported, such as patch development and so on. So we decided urgent that database upgrade to 10.2.0.4 version in the boss expansion project.The problem that applications are not applied with database, performance degrades system unstable runs after database upgrade will often occur. The key to avoid the problem is a real application test.This paper investigate that oracle's spa tool execute simulation application performance test in this database upgrade. After research, though SPA is a new tool in oracle 11g version, but it supports process capture and reloads in oracle 9i and 10g version. Through some technologies, such as build oracle 11g middle database, remote test execution, create test script and so on, real application test is executed. According to the requirement of database upgrade performance test and test detailed design, detailed test case on many scenes, database parameter tune, test scripts are deployed. According to the test plan, test is executed. The test problem is resolved, the test result is analyzed in host, database and SPA report aspects, the conclusion that upgrade is feasible is drew.This project avoids the problem of traditional test method, such as long prepare period, secondary development, and background process not simulation and so on. It simulates pressure from not front terminal, but database and has the features of real and general pressure test, high efficient test scene record etc.. This project saves person cost, time cost, make the change period shorter. After database upgrade, System runs well and performance upgrade. This project makes the spa use experience richer. |
