In the past few years, Web services technology is being more and more attention to industry and academia and it develops rapidly, but there are still many shortcomings. How to improve the performance of Web Services has also become a hot issue. The performance of Web services technology is the major obstacle in the field of real-time data services. To enable the real-time Web Services-based system to meet the needs of real-time, The paper analyzes the various factors which impact the Web Services and the existent bottlenecks. Using WS TEST to test the consumed time of parsing, deserialization, service calling and serialization the XML messages while processing the XML information. The paper proposes to compress and the XML parser to improve the parsing speed and real-time of Web services. The paper also introduces VTD-XML parser to improve the parsing speed and designs a parsing template based on VTD-XML. The template calls the real-time data services after parsing the asked SOAP message, then stores the request information in the cache after returning the result data. This will simplify the XML parsing process while requesting the SOAP repeatedly to improve the response speed. Using the method combining the LRU, LFU AND SIZE to manage the cache based on VTD-XML parsing template will improve the cache performance efficaciously. Finally, under J2EE we use TOMACT and AXIS to realize web service of the real-time data. By comparing the performance of using the template and not, we can find the VTD-XML template to be efficacious. Web services of real-time data can also provide the real-time data accessing for user, computer and other system such as ERP, PDM etc. It is beneficial to the information integration of enterprises.
