Study And Implementation On Key Technologies Of On-line Analysis Processing System Based On Data Warehouse

The primary target of this paper is researching and implementing OLAP system..The specific characteristic and architecture of data warehouse is introduced firstly. Explain the configuration of the data warehouse. The architecture and theory model of OLAP technology is also studied in this paper, especially the core theory model and some concepts of OLAP architecture which lays a foundation to the following system realization.Based on large amount of experiments, a lot of relative issues in realization of OLAP system are studied in the way of combination of theory and practice. Such as the physical storing strategy in the data warehouse; the efficient associated query with bitmap index and an innovative distributed algorithm for the pre-aggregation process. A stable OLAP architecture is implemented in this paper eventually, which is described from different aspects as framework structure, module division, data structure, system interface and design of system call. We also describe its subsidiary report system in every detail.
