The Design And Implementation Of The On-line Test System Platform Based On The Campus Network

Today is a society of demanding for talents. Examination as a kind of common and effective mean and method have made irreplaceable contributions to select and assess talents. Currently, many work units, enterprises, companies and schools all use examination to improve and assess personnels'level, test the teachers'teaching level.But, with the progress of society and the continual development of network technology, the step of the construction of informationize is faster and faster, the modernization level of examination and training of the institutions of higher education, companies, enterprises and work units is higher and higher, the operation and management of the traditional paper is more and more inconvenient. So, the examination system must be reformed,the most effective way is utilizing the modern advanced network resources and on-line test developed with computer technology instead of traditional examination using paper. This way brings users not only the convenience of the operation and management, but also high efficiency, intelligence and stability.This article described the background and significance of on-line test, analysised the practical needs of the test based on network, designed and realized the system of on-line test. This system is designed development,under the situation of the university situation, new students study the class of the "the information technology and the foundation" base on graduation choice. The system used the advanced softwares and internet technology, component technology, multithread technology, multilayer database technology, data encryption technology and capturing data-package technology.The system includes five modules:selecting courses system, on-line test system, going over examination papers and evaluation system and avoiding chrating system. Each subsystem includes few small system. These systems make auxiliary each other to releaze a on-line test system based on network which has entire function, satisfies many uses, provides many types of questions such as selection, breif answer, discussion, hearing, reading and writing of English, Word, Excel and computing.The article discussed the realization of the key technology invovling question database, examinee database, producing papers, distributing papers, answers, handing in papers and going over papers automatically. Furthermore, the article put forward effective solutions about uploading and downloading the answer files limpidly, losing answer files and cheating etc. The system shooted for releazing humanizedness and foolly, satisfying users as far as possible.
