Research On Ip Transformation Technology Of Gsm Bss And Implementation In Mobile Network

With the development of LTE evolution, IP will be one of the key technique during the whole process. The IP evolution of GSM will be turned core network into a flat architecture. In order to reduce the TCO and realize the uniform framework of GSM network, Telecom operators will pay more attention to the IP transformation technology of GSM BSS and the possibility of implementation.IP transformation technology of GSM BSS represents on the control plane and the user plane, which includes Abis,A and Gb interface. In this paper we should study the main features,advantages and the implementation method of BSS IP transmission. Based on the discussion, we described the test on BSS IP which is organized in shaanxi GSM mobile network, which includes the network topology,testing scheme and testing report.
