Open-laboratory Portal Design And Implementation Based On Mvc Pattern

Open Laboratory of University is an important base of teaching, science research and technical services, also is one of the basic conditions of be a good schools. Laboratory construction and management level reflects a school's teaching, research and management level. However, with the rapid advance of higher education management system, Yulin College Open Lab in the construction and management, are also facing many new problems and new challenges, such as the duplication of teaching resources, resources not shared, experiment booking form is more backward, ineffective use of laboratory equipment resources and so on. Laboratory Information of the more isolated, so many students have limited knowledge of the open lab, and the characteristics of laboratory experiments on a limited understanding.For existed problems, this paper analyzed the base demand of current Open Laboratory management system, designed and developed an improved Open Laboratory Portal with B/S architecture and MVC pattern,which main features include: Laboratory Information release, including laboratory information, laboratory organization introduction, experimental teacher introductions; the open laboratory provides a BBS forum to facilitate interaction between teachers and students; students can see the laboratory information through the Web site, and appoint personal experiment; Experimental Teachers may approve appointments, modify laboratory information, also maintain students and experimental teachers information. Laboratory Web Portal, which greatly facilitates the students access to information on the experiment, which improves teachers's management level to the laboratory experiments.With the deploying of Open-Laboratory Portal, it can effectively integrate the use, management of existing laboratory resources, promote the information development of Open-Laboratory of Yulin University, improve the ability of various departments of Yulin College managing the laboratory.
