On Defense-in-depth Strategy And Infrastructure Management Of Campus Network

Of all the computer technologies, the rapid development and popularization of Internet profoundly change people's mode of production, living, thinking and communication and also basically influence traditional education system. At the beginning of the new century, all the countries especially the developed countries speed up informationization. As a major component of Public Service System, Campus Network has become the most important infrastructure in a school and the information application level also has become one of the criteria to measure the conditions for running schools. With its enlargement and wider application,Campus Network has become more and more vital to run a school and more and more teachers and students share the resources. With its new development, a series of services such as Online Teaching, Online Education and Distance Education make Online Education resouces no longer a closed net. Its hardware planning, security issues, making security strategies, deploying security specification and ensuring its safe operation are the essential problems.Network security is one of the vital issues and also the research focus in information security. Network security includes physical security and logical security. Physical security means how to protect all the instruments from being destroyed or losing. Logical security includes the interity, privacy, non-repudiation and availability of information. It involves in Network, Operation System, Database, Application System, Personnel Management and all these factors must be cosidered altogether. As any other corporate information, Campus Network information security level depends on the whole society's development in information security disciplines. Nowadays, many western countries invest a lot of manpower and financial resources in developing information security. The research focuses on a series of theories, including (New groupings encryption standard. Key escrow, back to the technical,research on authentication trustworthiness theory,pkcs public key cryptography,formalization analysis of security protocolseic etc.).We made significant indepent innovation in information application security research.
