In recent years, the ability of storing and processing for computer data has enhanced, the data compressing technology develops rapidly, and the channel of data transmission has been widened, all of these elements have promoted the development of video conference system. As a new video compression standard, H.264 has been applied to video conference system, the video conference protocol analysis and decoding research based on H.264 is very important. The major achievements and results of research work are outlined as follows:The IP/UDP/RTP protocols for video conference are studied, a media recognition method based on feture analysis is proposed, video conference data is extracted from uncooperative receiving network data effectively with the method.On the basis of data analysis and coding research of the H.264, the software for H.264 decoding has been designed. It has achieved the decoding of H.264 video data correctly.Aimed at the weakness of some error concealment algorithms, we proposed a spatial error concealment method based on edge feature, the method improves the quality of the picture.Based on the analysis of the G.722.1 audio compression data in the video conference, the audio coding data has decoded correctly. A playout control method for media synchronization based on RTP/RTCP is proposed, the proposed method can achieve the synchronization between audio and video effectively.
