Education is the foundation of social development, the basic force and important back-up for influencing social change and fostering social progress. Basic education is the core of the whole education, and an important guarantee for social development and progress. Its development has a great significance to promote social stability and build a harmonious society. Headmasters are the soul of a school, holders and creators of school relationship with management and a key figure in the school reform. With the continuously deepening of educational reforms, basic education has entered a new stage with a high quality, diversity and innovation as the main objective of the development, all of which have placed a higher demand for headmasters'leadership. As a main way to improve headmaster's own quality, headmasters'training is an important approach to construct and enhance headmasters'leadership. In recent years, there are a lot of studies about headmasters'training, but leadership training for headmasters is rare. As a result, the author analyzed the problems of headmasters'leadership objectively on the basis of analyzing many theoretical results comprehensively both from home and abroad, followed by a lot of questionnaire surveys and interviews. From such aspects as training value, training system, operation and implementation of training, headmaster's self reasons and evaluation and feedback for training quality, the article made a thorough inquiry into the problems of leadership training for headmasters, and also put forward corresponding countermeasure and proposal. This study indicates that we should start from the following aspects:establishing a correct view of the headmasters'training, innovating mechanisms for headmasters'training, building training faculty, constructing multiple complementary training modules, and managing training process strictly to improve the availability of leadership training for headmasters.
