| With the development of economy in recent years, the subject of financial education is gradually coming in, since the problems such as the teenagers'improper understanding of fortune, the excessive use of money in their daily lives and so forth has drawn more and more attention. In this paper, the author takes the secondary vocational school students as an example. The author, by comparing and analyzing the financial education to teenagers home and abroad, thinks that the main problems existed in the present financial education of the secondary vocational school students are as follows:(a) weak consciousness of financial management, and poor knowledge on it; (b) Immature consumer behavior, and confusing consumer mentality; (c) inadequate enterprise on financial management, and weak quality on it; (d) possessing a certain discriminating ability, and being in the transforming period into a social man. In view of the important status and role of the secondary vocational schools in Chinese education systems, based on the similar studies, this paper proposes that Chinese secondary vocational school should attach great importance to the financial education, organize the students to learn the knowledge and the skill of financial management in a planned way, make the students understand the significance of the life financial planning, and teach the students to deal with the social problems independently after their graduation. All these will be very effective knowledge and skill for them to deal with the problems on housing, work and life in the future. Based on above, this paper discusses goal, principle, method, content of the financial education in depth, and puts forward the original viewpoints on how to carry out financial education in secondary vocational school in order to cultivate the secondary vocational school students who can adapt to the development of the socialist market economy. |
