Culture is a nation's banner of thought and symbol of spirit. Its survival is presupposition and conditions of a nation's survival. It has great significant to maintain and strengthen the cultural security of a nation, especially in current China. Education, especially school education, have a long heritage of culture and cultural integration function. It will pay attention to radiate the traditional culture and cultivate the culture identification with the young people. So we must sufficiency exert the impact of school education to insure the state culture security. Because of the special geographical location and limited natural environment in the border region of Xinjiang. The economic development is influenced, however the talent is the foundation of economic and social development depends. So expand the border education has the realism signification. Due to various factors, the border region should carry out the fundamental education. The research will analyze the relationship between the education of the border in Xinjiang and the cultural security of a nation. It may make the ministry of education and school pay more attention on the function of the education. The study not only can enhance the understanding and unite among ethnics through the understanding of the culture, but also can make Xinjiang more steady and more harmonious in our country.This research is written on the bases of absorbing the results of previous studies, it makes a description and study of the relationship between the education of the border in Xinjiang and the cultural security of a nation. In addition, it also combines the knowledge of education, sociology and ethics. This essay use the method of research, qualitative analysis and case study. Finally after utilizing the Chinese and foreign materials, it has explored the relationship and elicit some suggestions to advance the development of the border fundamental education in Xinjiang.The main contents of this paper first analyzes the relationship between education and culture, and discusses the special demand in border fundamental education. Second, it is based on the development of basic education study in the border region of Xinjiang. It adopt qualitative analysis and quantitative investigation to study the problem. It elicit border fundamental education is not developed well.Then it study the region of Kashi, analyse actuality of Kashi's education and discuss the connection between education and the state culture security. And then it discuss the cause of the border fundamental education. At last the author try to raise some suggestions to advance the development of the border fundamental education in Xinjiang.
