Lu Xun Literary Works are always most important and difficult points for Chinese Reading of Junior High School. Many Students do not like his works, and are not willing to read them. Some people even think that Chinese Text Books should select as few essays of Lu Xun as possible, as they have insurmountable time difference and language difference for Junior High School students.This thesis has a survey into the current education status of Lu Xun Works, analyzing its problems:mechanical explanation of themes of Lu Xun Works; ignorance of initiative of the understanding for students; utilitarian of the education, only for the purpose of coping with tests; one-sided analysis. Due to these problems, many students walk away from Lu Xun works. But Lu Xun Works are excellent essays with the characteristics of humanity and instrumentality. They are the national classics. Therefore it is really necessary for us to go "Closer" to Lu Xun. The language used in the works is vernacular, similar to modern Chinese. As long as the selected essays meet with the cognitive level of the students with suitable education methods, it is possible to go "closer" to Lu Xun. As to how to lead the students to go "closer" to, and "into" Lu Xun, this thesis makes some initial exploring. During the education, the teachers should show a true Lu Xun, and draw closer to the students, instead of making him sacred. When have the class, teachers should pay attention to creating a suitable background, and bring the students to be closer to Lu Xun sentimentally; teachers should encourage associating reading to let the students understand Lu Xun Works much better and much more comprehensively during the comparative reading. Besides, it is necessary to arrange many kinds of activities outside the class, and make a good use of Shanghai local resources to stimulate the interests and initiative of the students. Only by doing this, it is possible to let students go "closer", and then "into" a true Lu Xun actively. I sincerely hope that this thesis can make a small contribution to our teachers during their education pratice.
