Research On The Image Of Fable In Zhuangzi

Zhuangzi, which has the dual property of philosophical and romanticism works, is the famous philosophical prose works of Pre-Qin Period. Its importance is that it is used to fables to express deep philosophical idea. And Zhuangzi carefully describe parable characters is the reason why Zhuangzi is being to the most literary value prose works of all the Philosophers'works in Pre-Qin Period. All kinds of painting of social character was described by Zhuangzi who had a colorful series figure of mythical figure, emperors and courtiers, skilled mechanic and despicable curs and so on, who would dazzled reads. What excellent skill it was in Zhuangzi about producing characters. The thesis included four parts besides the introduction and conclusion.First part: Research on the image of Zhuangzi. The character of Zhuangzi was in the center of the works among the all characters. We can know his living conditions and deep philosophical idea from his words and deeds. Compared to other characters, the character of Zhuangzi was the unique character that was appeared with positive image all the time in Zhuangzi. It seems the character of Zhuangzi is the thorough art of his own personality. Image of Zhuangzi will be divided into recluse image, sophists image, michihito image and the Poor Scholars image. I comment on the features of these images separately. In addition, Research on the image of Zhuangzi implicated philosophy, and focus on analyzed image of recluse, sophists and michihito. Research on the cause of image of Zhuangzi.Second part: Research on the image of Confucius. Confucius, who would be the commendatory or derogatory character image from borrowing by the philosophers, was the most influential figure at that time. And Confucius became the figure who can publicize Taoism. Based on classification of Confucius image, I comment on Confucius image from three aspects: positive image, negative image, objective image. The reason why Confucius image was changefully in Zhuangzi is that Zhuangzi utilized and negated Confucius'thoughts in order to express own philosophy. Research on the cause of changeful image of Confucius. The reason as followers: influence of feature of fable style, influence of Chu-culture, diversity of Confucius behavior and Confucianism, purposely borrowing to dignity of Confucius.Third part: Research on the image of Grotesques. The image of grotesques was favorable by Zhuangzi. They combined beauty and ugliness that had mutilated body but had sound spirit compare to normal person. They carried free and easy and cynical ambivalence of Zhuangzi. And they had ideal and realistic of the sustenance of Zhuangzi. After research on the definition of Grotesques image, the image was mainly composed by artificial-grotesques, born-grotesques and psychological- grotesques. And I comment on the by analyzing the representative figure and the symbolism of the Grotesques image. They separately represented different thoughts of Zhuangzi. I comment on research on the Grotesques image from three aspects: subjective feelings of Zhuangzi, prototype source of Grotesques and Zhuangzi's experience.Forth part: Research on the influence of image to after time in Zhuangzi, and focus on analyzed influence of Zhuangzi and Grotesques image.
