A Primary Design Of Happiness Questionnaire Of Chinese Youth

According to pure happiness theory, happiness is the only purpose of life, which is the prudential value of evaluating the good life. Also happiness is the common goal of all the human beings. The present youth, who were born and grew up in the tempestuously changing and reformation time of China, are encountering kinds of stress and challenges which have never had before. They increasingly focus on their own psychological situation, sensation and characteristic. So it is important to find out and study the happiness status and its traits of the special group. Based on the review of former research and the results of the open-end questionnaire with 83 young people, the preliminary structure of happiness of youth was constructed by the item analysis and exploring factor analysis of three-times preliminary questionnaire investigation. In that way, the happiness questionnaire of Chinese youth was accomplished. After the kinds of reliability and validity data was collected,1300 young people filled out the happiness questionnaire of Chinese youth. The results are as follows:1,Happiness of Chinese youth is a multi-level and multi-dimensional structure. The general happiness includes cognitive happiness, emotional happiness and behavioral happiness. Cognitive happiness composes of self cognition, environment cognition and metacognition of happiness. Emotional happiness is mood modification. Behavioral happiness is the initiative behavior to achieve happiness.2,The happiness questionnaire of Chinese youth was accomplished according to the happiness structure of Chinese youth. The data of repeated reliability, internal consistency, content validity, criterion validity, constructive validity are all up to statistic demand. The questionnaire can be regarded as an appropriate tool of estimating happiness of Chinese youth.3,There are several points of Chinese youth's happiness. Except gender effects, the score differences of different ages, different marriage, different living places, different education and different times of volunteer are all significant.
