GuQin, one of the oldest Chinese musical instruments of seven strings, has been named "GuQin" since the beginning of this century. Guqin, for its clear, peace, lightness, elegance, character, embodies the Chinese literati's philosophy and aesthetic pursuit, and ranks the first in their life of "art"(Qin, chess, calligraphy and painting).As China's economic development and social progress, more people try to understand it, love it, and it is playing an "edutainment" role in the building of spiritual civilization in China.In Guqin Culture-"Qin device-human-tune-Qinology-Qin Tao", the "Qin device" is the foundation, the carrier of art, and is the synthesis of sound art and visual art. Its design not only embodies the aesthetic taste of the Chinese literati also reflects China's unique philosophy-"Harmony of Heaven and Man", "Yin and Yang", "Five Elements" and so on.With the law of" remain essentially the same despite all apparent changes "(external shape makers could redesign its external shape according to their own preferences), and based on my own exploration practice, analysis on GuQin's structure and traditional industrial art making process, combined with my own practice, in this article I attempts to do some new exploration on its design, modification and technology.
