Tragedy Spirit In The Literature Of Xu Dishan

This thesis, through penetrating into texts, researches tragic aesthetic characteristic. During the revelation of tragedy life, Xu Dishan made detailed inquiries about the essence of life. Xu Dishan knew quite well about each religion, but he didn't believe the religions indiscriminately, he researched them rationally. There is rationalism in his ideas. Xu Dishan had the Confucian spirit and the intrinsic transcendence, simultaneously he also had the tragic spirit, which surmounted the Confucian spirit.He cared about the human fate. Between the material and the spiritual matters, he cared about human's spirit much more. He pondered the life in philosophical sense. To some extent, this made his works overstep the times. Xu Dishan praised the characters, who had the tragic spirit. He didn't reappear the tragic life, but make the people withstand the tragedy, and cause the readers to obtain the intense of the tragedy in the reading process. This kind of tragic aesthetic can make the person produce one kind of tense system, and raise human's tenacious will. This is the reason why he can be accepted by the times, and this is also the reason why his works can overstep the times.
