| Objective To investigate the lever of serum interleukin-6 and high sensitive C reactive protein in Kazakh and Han in Shihezi and the surrounding area, and to explore the relationship among IL-6, hsCRP and EH.Method Sampling 135 EH patients in Kazakh and 135 EH patients Han as the case, and sampling 130 and 147 subjects for matched control from the date we collect before. The concentration of serum IL-6 was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), serum hsCRP level by immunoturbidimetric assay (ITM). Data was managed and inputted with software of Epidata3.02. All statistical analyses were performed using the SPSS13.0 statistical software. Results 1. Serum IL-6 concentration in EH groups were higher than control groups in Kazakh and Han [(1.79±0.40 vs.1.42±0.46, P Kazakh<0.05); (1.44±0.29 vs.1.08±0.41, P Han<0.05)].2. Serum hsCRP concentration in EH groups were higher than control groups in Kazakh and Han [(0.60±0.20 vs.0.34±0.26, P Kazakh<0.05); (0.54±0.18 vs.0.25±0.22, P Han<0.05)].3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that IL-6 was positively correlated with hsCRP in Kazakh and Han. In Kazakh,IL-6 and hsCRP was positively correlated with BMI,WHR,FPG,SBP,DBP,TC,TG and LDL-C, and negative correlation with HDL-C;In Han,IL-6 and hsCRP were positively correlated with BMI, WHR,FPG,SBP,DBP,TC,TG,otherwise,IL-6 was positively correlated with age in Han control group.4.Stepwise regression analysis showed that in Kazakh, TG, FPG, TC, BMI and HDL-C might be the influencing factors of IL-6, WHR, SBP, FPG and TC might be the influencing factors of IL-6 in Han; TG, SBP, FPG, HDL-C and LDL-C might be the influencing factors of Serum hsCRP concentration in Kazakh, SBP, WHR, FPG and TG might be the influencing factors of hsCRP in Han.5. Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting the risk of hypertension, there was a significant association between serum IL-6 and hsCRP and essential hypertension occurrence in Kazakh and there was a significant association between serum IL-6 and essential hypertension occurrence in Han.Conclusion 1. Serum IL-6 and hsCRP concentration in EH groups were higher than control groups; this suggested that there was chronic inflammatory state existed.2. The level of serum IL-6 and hsCRP might be associated with obesity, FPG and blood-fat abnormality.3. There was a significant association between serum IL-6 and hsCRP and essential hypertension occurrence in Kazakh and there was a significant association between serum IL-6 and essential hypertension occurrence in Han. |
