Rheumatoid arthritis is a Rheumatoid arthritis is a systematic rheumatoid disease and is mainly characterized by chronic progressive polyarthritis. Studies in recent years have shown that blood platelet gets involved in the adjustment of body reaction to inflammation. The purpose of the present study is to explore the function of the therapy of eliminating pathogen and activating blood on RA and on the blood platelet (PLT) of patients, providing theoretical basis for employing the therapy of eliminating pathogen and activating blood on clinical treatment of RA. The study procedure is to select qualified subject for clinical observation, then divide them into the contrast group and the treating group. Laboratory examinations will be conducted for all subject of the study 3 days before treating them. Treat the two groups according to the experiment plan, and conduct the relative laboratory examinations before the treatment again after 30 days and after 60 days respectively. Use statistical software to analyze the examinations results before treating and the results 30 days and 60 days after treating. The study finds that our original formula of anti-inflammation and activating blood can dramatically restrain the PLT count in the active period of RA, and is very effective in the treatment during the active period of RA, that is , it can greatly decrease the time of stiffness in the morning, number of the swelling arthritis and its index, and the number of painful arthritis and its index of the patient whose PLT increase in the active period of RA, and it can help decrease the laboratory indexes, such as, ESR,CRP,PLT,PCT,MPV of these patients, and getting closer to normal level. The conclusion of the study is that blood clots are the key contributing factor of RA, and the therapy of eliminating pathogen and activating blood can be used in treating the patients whose PLT increase in the active period of RA. The original formula of anti-inflammation and activating blood can have effective function on these patients, and the therapeutic effect is much better than the group who haven't taken the traditional Chinese medicine. There is no side effects of the medicine were observed.
