In recent years, "Drugs to Support Hospitals" has been very common in medical institutions, resulting in extremely serious consequences. It has become one of the issues that urgently need to be solved in reforming present medical and health system. If this issue is not resolved properly, it will affect China's economic development and social stability.This paper analyzes the problem of the system of "Drugs to Support Hospitals", applying the relevant theories of economics, using methods of literature, comparative and empirical research, combining history with reality, trying to find practical and feasible measures to find out how the Government will further reform the system of "Drugs to Support Hospitals" and to finally settle the matter of drug prices "artificially high" and to help relieve the crisis of high cost of getting medical treatment, which is of great concern to the general public, and to play the role of government more effectively.To solve the problem of the system of "Drugs to Support Hospitals", we must first deal with the following problems:The distinctiveness of drugs and the difference between drugs and general merchandise;What problems lie in the system of "Drugs to Support Hospitals"? Why would these problems occur? Based on the above, this paper analyzes the current status of the medical system of the United States, Germany, Canada and other countries, summarizes and concludes what experience China can learn from.This paper explores the issue with economic theory, putting forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to reform the system of "Drugs to Support Hospitals", which mainly include:To enhance government's supervision to curb drug prices artificially high; To reform the price management system of the pharmaceutical industry to improve the drug pricing system; To better the drug circulation system; To increase the Government's financial capital investment and persist in the public welfare of public hospitals, drawing upon foreign experience to build an integrated system of comprehensive governance of drug prices artificially high.
