The Experimental Reasearch On The Influence Of Selfmade Zujing Decoction On The Reproduction Dysfunction Of Male Sd Rats Administrated By Glycosides Of Triptergium Wilfordi

[Objective]:To explore the effect and mechanism of the selfmade ZUJING decoction on the reproductive dysfunction of male SD rats with Glycosides of Triptergium Wilfordi。[Method]:40 male SD rats, which were 15 months old, were randomly divided into 4 groups of 10 each and treated with GTW suspension (20mg/kg d) for 14 days for modeling. After 14 days, the model group was randomly selected from the 4 groups and was oralled quantitatively distilled water during the follow-up experiments.The others were Separately teated with low dosage selfmade ZUJING decoction, middle dosage and high dosage for 28 continuous days. During the study, the changes of rats in the activities and mental status were observed. The weight of the testicle and epididymis were calculated after 24 hours of the last administer. Epididymal sperm were observed to take liquid density, activity and survival rate; light microscopy and image analysis system to observe testicular microstructure; measuring serum testosterone (T) level[Result]:After the Fifth day treating with GTW suspension, the rats would lose weight, decrease activities and become slowness. Its pelage would become yellow and parch blight, Its tail would become clammy. The Glycosides of Triptergium Wilfordi would replicate the "deficiency and reproductive dysfunction " mode. The selfmade ZUJING decoction would improve the symptoms mentioned above. Compared with the model group, the density and motility rate of sperm of the other rats, the concentration of testosterone, the number of the tubules and the Leydig cells increased significantly.[Conclusion]:Glycosides of Triptergium Wilfordi could replicate the SD rats"def iciency and reproductive dysfunction" mode. Selfmade ZUJING decoction could raise the concentration of serumal testosterone, increase the weight of the testicle and epididymis of the rats and also increase the number of the tubules and the Leydig cells, so selfmade ZUJING decoction that can be effectively antagonistic cyclophosphamide on the SD rats reproductive toxicity, to protect their reproductive function.
