Chinese pink,which is perennial,is usually used as annual or biennial.Because of its good characters,such as colourful flowers and long florescence,it is more and more accepted by the public.In this study,seven inbred lines of Chinese pink were selected as parents for crossing according to GriffingⅡ,21 cross combinations and 7 selfcrossed combinations obtained.Firstly,100-kernel weight and seed germination ratio of all the crosses(short for cross combinations and selfcross combinations) were compared;and seed germination ratio of different ripeness was discussed;secondly,the heterosis were analyzed of 11 ornamental characters of all the Dianthus chinese crosses;thirdly,some studies on inheritance laws of the 11 ornamental characters.The main results of this study were as following:1.Parent NO.5 had the lowest 100-kernel weight,while NO.N had the highest.When used as the parent,the crosses of NO.5 gave more higher 100-kernel weight compared with NO.5 itself.While the crosses of NO.N or NO.20 gave lower 100-kernel weight with themselves.Significant heterosis in germination ratio was observed in F1 seed.2.According to the results of heterosis analysis,the Dianthus chinensis crosses had significant heterosis in the 12 ornamental characters,while in the flowers,single initiatorye,height the crosses showed transgressive heterosis.The flower density showed mid-parent heterosis,while the initiatory florescence and the good florescence showed minus transgressive heterosis.In order to obtain good characters in F1,we can choose parents acording to their ornamental characters.3.Some inbred lines showed excellent in comprehensive performance,such as NO.21, NO.20,NO.5,and some inbred lines such as NO.N showed good in comprehensive performance.NO.L performed medium but woule increase the flower size of its hybrid progeny.According to the results of heterosis analysis,combination analysis and heredity analysis of flower colors,some excellent cross combinations were obtained,they were: 21×L,20×L,H×5,H×N,H×41. |
