Combining ability of main characters in different self generation was estimated, with p×q(NCII) design, which S1lines~S5lines crossed respectively with Nong52,B100 ,Chao9602, Dan340 and 224 hybrids was attained. The result showed that:(1)According to general combining ability, the high general combining ability of selfing line could be chosen from the high general combining ability and the low general combining ability of early selfing line. (2) Heritability of combining ability of stem diameterwas greater, the charater could be chosen in early generation,Heritability of combining ability kernel row was Iow,the charater couldn't be chosen in all generation.Heritability of combining ability plant height, ear height, ear length, kear diameter, row number, ear weight ,kernel per ear,100-kernel weiht and grain yield was high ,selection should perform in S3 generation. (3) It is basically steady that the midparent heterosis of all traits in S4generation , The behavior of the late generation will receive greater influence of the environmental factor Gene pure increase wasn't main influence factor of heterosis yet.(4)As for two anaylsis of heterosis and heterosis effect, heterosis effect can reflect two parent make each other and favorable gene accumulate and produce advantage even more.(5)Significant correlation were found among F1values and midparent heterosis ,F1values and yield-specifi combing ability Significant correlation were found among yield-specifi combing ability and midparent heterosis of yield,yield-specifi combining ability and over parent heterosis.F1grain yeild and relations of specific effect value of heterosis was getting closer in relations than F1 grain yeild and relations of midparent heterosis.
