As the root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,Chinese medicine Scutellaria has the function of Heat-clearing and Dampness-drying and miscarriage prevention.It is also one kind of raw material for medicine,drugs manufacture industry,increasingly importance has been attachedto its application and the development at home and abroad.Exploring new production methods of Scutellaria has done something highly significant in protecting the resource and promoting the depth exploitation of Scutellaria.Our research include:1.Establishment of tissue culture system in Scutellaria:compose of the establishment of callus system,regeneration system and suspending system.We use stem as explants,callus derived from Beijing Scutellaria can be induced in the light on MS culture medium that contains 1mg/L 6-BA,2,4-Dand1.0 mg/L NAA.And we screening the proper MS culture medium that contains NAA 1.0mg/L+2,4-D 1.0mg/L+6-BA2.0mg/L for shanxi Scutellaria. The induce rate is up to 100%;TDZ is important for the direct regeneration system and in direct regeneration system.Low concentration can induce the re differentiation of Scutellaria.Establishment of the Scutellaria suspending cell system can be made on MS culture medium which contains 2,4-D0.5mg/L and TDZ3.0 mg/L. 2.A preliminary study on the relationship between environment and accumulated mechanisms of valid components of Scutellaria.High temperature and darkness can induce the growth of suspend cell of huangqi partially.Meanwhile,light can lead the accumulation of baicalein:7-O-β-D-glucuronide and baicalein.Analysis of the relation between the accumulation of baicalein:7-O-β-D-glucuronide and PAL activity indicates that dimethylmethane metabolism pathway is effected in the dark and high temperature,maybe it functions in the changing environment.In the high temperature and dark conditions,antioxidation is induced by high level active oxygen,especially the constant increasing PAL activity,and leading to the decreasing accumulation of baicalein.
