Off Planting Ecosystem Services And Valuation

Ecological farming system,which is an artificial sub-ecosystems formed by man control based on the nature,not only provides steady material foundation and food for human survival and development,but also tremendous environmental services.First of all,this paper build a farming ecosystem service evaluation index system in order to determine the content of assessing,including products providing function,air conditioning,water and soil conservation, the maintenance of nutrient cycles,purifying the atmosphere of the farmland and orchard systems,as well as the loss in soil pollution.Secondly,this paper select many assessing methods,such as the market value method, the shadow price method,an alternative method works,the opportunity cost method,cost method,and the calculation model of ecological Service functions valuation on the basis of theoretical research.Then take farming region of Guanzhong area as the object of this study,and estimate quantitatively the value of ecological Service functions.Result shows that the farming system services value of Guanzhong area has a certain effectiveness of the ecological service function.The gross value of ecological service function in Guanzhong area is 7339406.9WRMB,but as a result of greenhouse gas emissions and soil pollution because of the pesticides and fertilizer using,farming systems cause a certain loss of environmental value at the same time,and the loss reaches 3283332.2 WRMB.Therefore,The value of ecological service function in Guanzhong area is 4056075.0WRMB 2005,and the farming systems provide economic benefit but also obvious ecological benefits.Among the service functions of the farming ecosystem,the value of carbon-fixing and oxygen-releasing function is the highest,which is up to72.1%;followed by the products providing function,the maintenance of nutrient cycles,soil and water conservation and purifying the atmosphere function,and the proportions are14.2%,12.9%,0.6%and 0.2%.Through the estimating,results show that the value of air conditioning function of Wheat-corn system changes over time,and the curve was bimodal trend.And it's more stable in orchard ecological system,which curve was unimodal trend.Which can reflect the total value of ecosystem services change to some extent.
