Study Of Bamboo Resource Survey In Jiangsu Province And Landscape Applications

There is an abundant of bamboo resource in areas of Jiangsu province, areas of Jiangnan especially, there has a long of planting and using by bamboo. How to using bamboo resource better is a important work for us now. It is a important measure of bamboo using in gardens, also a important manner of bamboo industrialization. The text discusses the application of bamboo, basing on the investigation of plant landscape designs and bamboo by antecessor. This dissertation has five chapters, and can be divided into three parts.The first part of the dissertation analyses the investigating result of bamboo in Jiangsu province, through interviewing in the areas of Jiangsu province, consulting literatures about bamboo, we find the range and species of bamboo, and categorize from esthetics, in order to gardens works understanding the biologic and ecological characteristics of bamboo more systematically. Otherwise the table is arranged by the height of bamboo in the text, in order to choosing right bamboo species to gardens usage by gardens workers.The second part of the dissertation creates new bourn about bamboo usage, combining results of gardens landscape designing, theories of landscape plant architecture, theories of forest ecology in the city, expressing the viewpoint of persistent development. This part has the keystone of the text about bamboo usage in the city gardens, buildings, road and their environment, uses excellence of bamboo fully. Bamboo can be used best. When we study landscape usage of bamboo, bamboo can be composed of space, likes building space, has the analogous function to building space, and has esthetical characteristic too. Therefore we can find a new method from studying space about bamboo.The third part of the dissertation introduces the develop history of Jiangsu gardens and bamboo landscape usage, introduces applied actuality about bamboo, enumerate examples of bamboo usage in areas of Jiangsu, reflect features of bamboo usage. It can be got enlighten by garden works, and directs usage about bamboo in landscape design.Finally, basing on the content of the text, we make considering and summing-up.
