This paper's material is a variety of flue-cured tobacco Jiyan9 andLongjiang911. Studies on the physical appearance of tobacco leaves, observed fieldgrowth days needed to different maturity and observed the tissue structure of freshtobacco leaves. At the same time we measured the component of total nitrogen,protein, total sugar, reducing sugar, nicotine, starch, chlorophyll and carotene indifferent mutuality and different growth stage. We also commented the quality oftobacco leaf after baked by smoking. The result showed that the chlorophyll,carotene, nicotine and reducing sugar were increased latterly and became reducedwith, the leaf growth. The total nitrogen and protein always reduced. And the totalsugar were increase-reduce continuously in different growth stage. The changing ofmiddle and upper leaves represented same physical appearance, and lower leaveshad little difference. The leaf age was increased with maturity. The main chemicalcomponent became largely with maturity. The component of total chlorophyll andcarotene were reduced with maturity. The leaf thickness, the thickness of palisadetissues, the thickness of spongy tissues and the thickness of palisade tissues/thethickness of spongy tissues in different part of tobacco leaf were all reduced withmaturity; the porosity among cells were increased with maturity. The in-ripe andmature leaves had better quality by commented and smoked. |
