In this study, DNA samples from 180 chickens in cluding Guizhou yellow chicken, yellow Dwarf chicken which plant by Guizhou Universty scientific research, as well as the local variety xingyi Dwarf chicken were analyzed. H-FABP and A-FABP genes were studied by PCR-RFLP, and the effect of genetic variation of two genes on IMF content was analyzed. The aim of this study was to determine the major affecting IMF deposition or the genetic markers linked with them tightly.1.The study of the second intron of chicken H-FABP gene and tthe third intron of chicken A-FABP gene in the three breeds by PCR-RFLP showed HhaI-RFLPs and MspI-RFLPs were detected in the second intron of chicken H-FABP gene, and HinfI-RFLPs was detected in the third intron of chicken A-FABP gene怂But the allele frequency of every locus was different significantly.2.The frequencies of A allele for HhaI-RFLPs in Guizhou yellow chicken, yellow Dwarf chicken and Xingyi Dwarf chicken were superioritied, the frequencies of N allele for MspI-RFLPs in yellow Dwarf chicken and Xingyi Dwarf chicken were superioritied and the frequencies of A allele for HinfI-RFLPs were superioritied in three breeds.3.The difference of genetic properties among the three breeds was also significant. In HhaI-RFLPs, except yellow Dwarf chicken that had low polymorphism, the others had intermediate polymorphism; in MspI-RFLPs, xcept Guizhou yellow chicken that had intermediate polymorphism, the others had low polymorphism; in HinfI-RFLPs all breeds had low polymorphism.4.The effect of RFLP for H-FABP and A-FABP gene on IMF content was analyzed, the result showed that the allele gene B had the high IMF content, allele genes B had certain superiority function to the fat deposition for HhaI-RFLPs. Therefore BB genotypes available in MAS, enhancesing the IMF content.5.In chicken H-FABP gene MspI-RFLPs, the percentage of abdominal fat in heterozygote MN genotype surpassed the two homozygotes in the three breeds. This result showed that heterozygote MN has certain correlation with fat deposition.6.In A-FABP the gene HinfI-RFLP, the BB genotype individual has the superiority in deposition fat in Guizhou yellow chicken; in body weight, In yellow Dwarf chicken and xingyi Dwarf chicken, there had not remarkable in various characters on A-FABP on the gene HInfI-RFLP.
