The biological characteristics of the Acipenseridae is to be mastered well through the study on Amur sturgeon because of the lower degree in the species evolution of this kind of fish ,which provides the reliable datum to protect and exploit the sturgeon stocks. This dissertation studied the growth characteristics of juveniles and fries in Amur sturgeon, artificial breeding and enhancement sturgeon stocks in the period of domestication in the basin of the Yangtze River. The paper demonstrated that 1 age Amur sturgeon had the growth pattern of allometry and stages by growth. Amur sturgeon grew slower in the conditions of food transformation than in the natural conditions. While it grew well as nature after the transformation was successful. There was a strong significant relationship between the growth and the environmental factors included stocking density, water current and temperature. FCR became increasing with the increase of the stoking density ,but SGR was in adverse. However SV had no significant changes. Water current made Amur sturgeon grow faster. And it's effects on the growth were shown on the significant difference in FCR and the body weights. 19.8℃was found to be the optimum growth temperature. While, photoperiods had little effect on the growth performance, and has a great influence on its body colors. All dark made the body blanch. The rules of the daily variation in the aquatic quality in culture ponds of high stocking density were studied which shew that pH in 7.27-7.53 and temperature at 19℃ in the ponds were comparatively stable. And the aquatic quality at 6:00 was the worst in the day at which NHs-N was just 0.19 + 0.02 mg/L. Moreover, there was a significant correlationship between pH and NHs-N in ponds. The gonad of Amur sturgron grows better and faster in the artificial breeding conditions than in the natual conditions. And the gonad of 3 age Amur sturgeon was developed to the third stage. So it was a big hope to foster the parent sturgeon in the basin of the Yangtze River. The main fostering measures included the breeding temperature at 13-25℃, 5mg/L of D.O. and the artificial food in which drugs and nutritive elements were added on time. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Amur sturgeon (Acipenser schrenckii, Brandt), domestication, growth characteristics, environmental factor, aquatic quality, gonad, parent sturgeon | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
