Rural energy is an important part of the national energy, the foundation of rural economic development and a major event related to peasants' production and life. For recent.decades, methane project has gradually become the top priority of rural energy construction. However, currently the development of countryside biogas is restricted along with the continuous progress of the new countryside construction, the further optimization of rural industry structure and the acceleration of the rural lifestyle changes:Aiming at the new situation of the rural methane project, in 2007, to adapt to the requirements of new countryside construction, the Central Committee of the Communist Party issued the "Agriculture Minister Office and National Development and Reform Commission Office's Notice on Breed Community and Joint-household Biogas Project Scheme Pilot Construction(Agricultural Projects(2007)No.37)":from 2007, the State encourages some places, where has some previous work, local funds support and practical operation management system and mechanism, to construct breed community and joint-household biogas projects. As the town specialized in animal husbandry industry and traditional single-household" biogas in Zhejiang-Province, Yutou Town of Jiangshan County has promoted the development of joint-household biogas project effectively, which has great important to related research.Based on the typical case study of the joint-household biogas implementation in Jiangshan County, Zhejiang Province, this paper analyzed the feasibility from economic, technological, and social aspects using the whole life cycle of the input and output method. Then it was found that the joint-household biogas engineering had more advantages, such as more scale economic efficiency, more fund sources, convenient management, household satisfaction, great technological and market potential, compared to the single-household biogas engineering. This paper also pointed out some developing obstacles, such as poor service system, low-level training of villager and limited disposal of methane liquid and pig feces. At last, based on the analysis and discussion of the marketization of biogas project, this paper affirmed the positive effect of the government subsidies to the development of biogas project, withheld the support to complete marketlization and supported some useful attempts about the marketlization in large-scale centralized-supplying biogas project.
