Developing with the environmental pollution-free production, China's tobacco production has been approach to sustainable development, that is from emphasizing quantity to quality and characteristics, from fulfilling requirement of material to brand stretching, and from production leading to demand guide. According to the producing mode of "ecology, safety, characteristic, fine quality, efficient", it is an important part in Qiannan tobacco development to create an ecologic tobacco raw material base and encourage the harmonious development between tobacco production and ecological environment. It will be an inevitable choice to effectively reduce harmful substance, and improve the quality, safety, cological features. To improve market competitiveness and promote sustainable development in Qiannan prefecture, an important way is to develop organic and ecological tobacco.Through researching tobacco cultivated mode, formulating production technology program, and testing tobacco characteristic of different varieties, the main purpose is to explore a scientific cultivated mode from economic efficiency, physical features, chemical composition analysis, sensory quality analysis, aroma analysis, content analysis. The main findings are as follows:1,Through researching tobacco production cultivated mode without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides, an ecological tobacco production base will be built with a fair scale gradually, and certificated with a mating production technology system.2,Through sensory valuation and analysis, ecological tobacco is mainly reflected in the degree of pleasure, mellow aroma quality, less acrimony, obvious smooth and sweet, soft smoke, better quality of aroma, and less offensive taste. Smoke have a sense of sharp thorns in the bottom, but short stay. Smoke concentration is higher than comparison. The results show that ecological tobacco production technology will improve the inner quality and sensory quality of tobacco in Qiannan prefecture. It is of importance to enhance the overall quality and image of our tobacco.3,The climate, soil and natural environment in Qiannan prefecture is suitable for the development of ecological tobacco production. The annual average rainfall is 1200mm to 1400 mm in the main tobacco areas. The annual average temperature is between 13.6℃and 19.6℃. Frost-free period is 260-340 days. Daily average temperature≥20℃is more than 70 days. The soil type is mainly yellow soil, mostly slightly acidic, PH value between 5.5 and 6.5. Soil is rich in organic matter, P and K, rather deep and suitable for the growth of ecological tobacco.
