In the field of aeronautical observation and control, Single-Channel Tracking Receiver is one of the indispensable equipments of measuring and controlling stations, and is widely applied both for military and civil use.From 1990s till now,with the development of VLSI (Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits) programmable logic devices , IF(intermediate frequency) digitization technology has been applied on facility terminals of measuring and controlling stations. Compared with traditional simulate tracking Receiver , the Single-Channel IF digitization receiver has advantages as follows: simple structure, comparatively high reliability, low cost of equipments, comparatively high tracking precision etc. On the basis of mature application in ground measuring and controlling station, it is being gradually applied on mobile measuring and controlling stations such as airplanes and vehicles.The airborne single-channel 0/πmodulation IF digitization tracking receiver mentioned in this article is an important auxiliary equipment of a priority project. According to the required main technical index, direct digitization limited-band sampling is conducted in intermediate frequency 70MHz. Instant signals reception of target satellites is maintained by phase-lock demodulation of FPGA software and DSP software, providing Lock Indication,as well as error signals of azimuth angle and elevation angle for antenna servo. Its main contents Include:1. This article introduces in detail the equipment structure and operation principle of air borne single-channel 0/πmodulation IF digitization tracking receiver.2. This article describes the concrete circuit implementation design of air borne single-channel 0/πmodulation IF digitization tracking receiver. Mainly, the IF digitization tracking receiver includes intermediate frequency receiving units, and peripheral circuits, and its main function is the tracking and demodulation process of input 70MHz signals, and the adopted methods and technological process of phase correction has been explained.3. The test run and debugging of IF digitization tracking receiver has been accomplished , and the demanded technical index has been satisfied. In the experimental area a joint-test with servo system has been completed.
