Heat And Power Plant Electrical Control System Design And Implementation

With the rapid development of the power electronics and information technology, the power plants use the new equipments which have the advanced technology and high degree of automation to improve the degree of production processes automation and modern management level. This is the only way for survival and development of power plants.Electric Control System (ECS) include the power distribution equipment of different voltage levels, various and large numbers of relay protection devices, monitoring and control equipment, automatic devices and etc. ECS get the different equipments above together to form a whole system through the field bus or Ethernet links. ECS achieve the coordination and control, failure analysis and operational management of electrical system through on-site remote terminal unit, information management, scheduling machines and back-monitoring software. ECS not only make the information exchange with the distributed control system (DCS) easier, but also play a decisive role in the improvement of power plant automatic control level and the degree of operation and management.In this thesis, based on project management theories and the combination of the Extension engineering practice of Thermal Power Co. Ltd, which has constructed an electrical integrated automation system. We research into the project in progress management, quality control and cost analysis methods. In order to make the degree of the progress management of construction process for ECS, we use the network planning-based approach to the project, and the WBS methods to break down the project from the control theory, and the MS Project 2007 management software to program the schedule. At the same time in the project implementation process, we develop the quality technical documentations, the quality plan, the clear quality assurance department or personnel in order to improve the quality control of the project. From the clear and specific contractual requirements, the preparations of cost plans, and treat with engineering changes we strengthen the analysis and control of project cost.
