As a new concept of wireless sensor technology technology to its rapid growth in the consumer electronics industry, crop monitoring, animal health monitoring and medical care and other fields a large number of applications.In a variety of factory environments, wireless LAN technology as the communication of information between staff members transfer tool has been widely used.Meanwhile, the radio frequency identification technology (RFID) tag in the service sector as the public transportation system, personnel identification system is also widely used.Monitoring device, and now home and handheld devices using field wiring or the operation of equipment to diagnose the situation.As used in power plant workshop will bring the high cost of cable technology, cable aging, wiring problems, big issues such as space, staff members use handheld devices occupy a longer time, and can not achieve real-time monitoring purposes.Based on this issue between China and the Government of Canada science and technology cooperation project: Based on wireless sensor networks for nuclear power plant operation and health monitoring devices and systems development as a project background, the obvious move from wireless sensor technology to monitor the power plant rotating equipment operating conditions needs.Comparison of the existing power plant workshop environment for wireless communication technology between the main features: WIFI (IEEE802.11 standard) wireless LAN technology, bluetooth (IEEE802.15.1 standard) and ZIGBEE (IEEE802.15.4 standard) wireless Personal Area Network technology.Power plant rotating equipment in the operating conditions in the information compared with the information periodically to determine, nonperiodic interference information uncertainty, information length, different lengths and so on. The use of WIFI (IEEE802.11 standard) wireless LAN technology and bluetooth (IEEE802.15.1 standard) with chips higher costs to buy the serial number of communication protocols, there is no independent power supply cable where shorter working hours can not conduct an independent mesh networking and other disadvantages.After comprehensive comparison of low-power use, no need to purchase serial number, chip, low cost, open source code based on the agreement ZIGBEE (IEEE802.15.4 standard) standard as the main power plant rotating equipment monitoring.This paper studies wireless sensing technology in monitoring of power plant operation condition of rotating equipment applications, especially for nuclear power plant environment, rotating equipment in operation under the vibration and sound aspects of monitoring, proposed to build on ZIGBEE (IEEE802.15.4 standard ) power plant rotating equipment condition monitoring systems and related monitoring carried out around the module's hardware and software research, research summarized as follows:1. Discusses the characteristics of wireless sensor technology and applying it to plant the field of health condition monitoring of rotating equipment problems, analysis of the power plant rotating equipment running condition, made for this situation needs to monitor the functions of the module was designed based on wireless sensing technology to monitor rotating equipment prototypes.2. Using ATmega8 microprocessor and ADXL330 accelerometers to achieve vibration monitoring of rotating equipment module hardware platform development and hardware debugging to complete its work; implemented in the software part of the acceleration signal processing, vibration of rotating equipment obtained the important indicators: vibration intensity, vibration frequency.3. Using CEL ZIC2410 chip module as a rotating equipment monitoring the heart sounds, self-realization of the acquisition module of the hardware development and hardware debugging to complete its work; the software protocol stack according to the relevant provision of the functions is given for rotating equipment sound state of the collection and reduction, and design experiments to achieve the anti-noise interference and acoustic emission source separation of the two functions.
