With the rapid growth of global economy and development of aviation industry, air traffic flow increases more and more sharply. Improving the air traffic management monitoring ability becomes more and more increasingly important. A new concept of air traffic control-"free flight"was proposed by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Under the premise of"free flight", air traffic safety and efficiency of flight may be reduced greatly, Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast(ADS-B) provides effective technology for the solution to this problem. However, in term of the current development situation, ADS-B do not always provide the guaranteed security, uninterrupted state and intention data, for example, loss of data, input of data error and disturbance signal can reduce the data integrity of ADS-B, and then lower the performance of surveillance function of ADS-B .Here, performance of surveillance function of ADS-B is studied for aiming at the above problems, and specific contents are listed as follows:First, the relevant background and research status of research at home and abroad of ADS-B surveillance function are described, and then the ADS-B technology are discussed, including the ADS-B technology principle, its airborne system composition and application, the structure of ADS-B system based on 1090ES datalink, and analysis and research of its operation mode .Then, the key technology algorithm related with the performance of ADS-B surveillance function based on adaptive kalman filter algorithm are analyzed and studied, including the research and simulation of flight state validation algorithm, the analysis and simulation of flight intention verification algorithm, and target aircraft surveillance technology based on ADS-B is analyzed and researched.Finally, performance algorithm of monitoring function of ADS-B reception model is studied, mainly including the foundation and derivation of reception model, the estimation and simulation of probability that the reception model successfully receives ADS-B message of goal aircraft under the interference messages of S and A/C mode .
