Of Contemporary Urban Color Planning Model

City color planning is a very important method in urban style.The planning mode of city color planning is an operative theoretic research while planning city colors. As a whole theory system and a scientific effective method have not come into being in the planning of city colors in China, such as controlling over colors effectively in a scientific and reasonable way. This paper intends to reach the goal of harmonizing city environment and creating city feature.This paper is based on analyzing the impacts of city color planning. Three planning modes of city colors are presented:the city colour planning mode based on natural characteristics, city context and city function. The one based on city context includes the re-planning mode and the city mending mode.By the city colour planning mode based on natural characteristics, the color intention in the general scope of city will be got; the context research mode is based on planning method of Philippe Lenclos color and utilizes city color to extend city context; by the color analogy mode based on city function, city features will be created and the color intention within the scope of city and district will be got;The three modes are systematic and holistic in the actual application.Be taken into account the application of the three modes.Meanwile, as an open huge system,the research of city clour planning must be various angles. It hopes to supply and improve the theory in practice in the future.
