| The Fishway is an ecological engineering to harmonize the relationship between waterresources construction and aquatic protectorate. Because of its inherent copulative functions, theFish Way can act as a compensation measure on the adverse effects of water conservancyprojects on ecological environment. Through the research of the application data about domesticand international fishway, gives an introduction of the construction and development, types andlayout of the fishway structure, lists a number of fish-clapboard types and correspondinghydraulic characteristics of home and abroad fish way , the general principles of fishway design,do an analysis about the differences of overpass conditions and the application at home andabroad, as well as the design problems on domestic and foreign fishway.A systematically experimental study of hydraulic characteristics of vertical slot fishwayfrom side to side was conducted in a large scale model. Velocity profiles on the planes of 0.9h(denotes the pool depth corresponding to the discharge), 0.7h, 0.5h, 0.3h and 0.1h at differentcross-section in two adjacent pools were systematically measured for each of the three typicaldischarges and the three different models. The characteristics of non-dimensional velocityprofiles,the decay of the maximum velocity along flow direction as well as velocity variations atan identical pool depth with different discharges are analyzed. The empirical formula of mainflow trajectory, relation of variation in the maximum velocity along flow direction．Numericallysimulate the the condition of the hydraulic characteristics with software, comparative analysis ofthe flow characteristics suitable for fish upstream, analyze three different side of Vertical Slotfishway advantages and disadvantages of proposed meet the requirements of the vertical slotfishway pool room conditions. |
