It is a trend that the AC control systems take the place of the DC control system in the control system field, today. And then the vector control system becomes hot in study because of its advances.The speed sensor is essential to a AC variable frequency closed system, but there are some difficulties in installing of the speed sensor. And the reliability of the control system depends on the reliability of the speed sensor directly. The speed sensorless control system becomes to be more and more important in the vector control system.Studying deeply about the theory of the AC motor vector control system, some compares were got about the speed sensor and the speed sensorless control system through the MATLAB simulation and experiences in the article. The contents contain below:Firstly, based on the theory of the vector control system, the MATLAB simulink and programming, debugging, modifying have been completed in order to achieve the vector control system. Three PI were designed successfully according to the designing method of the PI and debugged on the haredware platform. All kinds of experiences, including load, unload suddenly, star, vary speed in running, have been completed from 0 to the rated speed.Again, refer to the method of the AC motor speed identification, the MRAS is currently applied. There are three ways of the reaction power, the rotor flux and the EMF to identify the rotor speed on line. The way based on the reaction power is selected in this paper because of the advance of influencing little by the motor parameters. Identifying the rotor speed on line through the speed sensor vector control system have been achieved and the experiences express that high accuracy for high speed.In addition, study deeply SVPWM, it is shows that there are some differences in realize the modulation method when the different wire connection. so how to divide the sector and how to determine the sector are given in this paper. The theory is proved by the experiences.
