Design And Implementation Of An Electrical Check-site Inspection System Based On Pda And Gps Technology

This paper presents a design of electrical site inspection system based on GPS and PDA, the system combines global satellite positioning technology (GPS) and technology (PDA) to achieve to collect the data information using the client application on the handheld computer, which ensures accuracy, security of the data, and affords the first-hand data for security management. This paper does the research and analysis of two basic methods of software development system, a structured life-cycle method and rapid prototyping, and combines global satellite positioning technology (GPS) with handheld computer technology (PDA), which design and implementation the electrical inspection system based on of technology PDA and GPS, by using this system, the inspection work becomes more accurate and efficient, the customer information and related information download becomes more comprehensive, complete, accurate and fast, and make the safety intendance of the power marketing's entire process more completely, prevent using electricity for breach of contract and power stealing effectively, reduce the loss of the power companies, improve management level of experience and economic benefits. This paper also described the electrical site inspection system's concept, structure and the basic principles and methods of the designed system.The system enables the electrical site inspection management for the production of electricity power line workers, and improves the basis information management of production management, gathers and collects information from the source, standardizes the content of the work shifts in production, reduces the second entry of visits recorded. is The design of the system accounts data collection and initial processing of the line where the grass-roots teams and groups began to complete production subsystem, while effectively combines the product with "electricity production MIS sub-systems",to achieve a comprehensive information management.In addition, the article also analyses the current status and trends of electrical inspection, and combines with the national conditions, making some reference propose to the building of the current electrical site inspection system in the power companies.
