The commond transmitter discussed in this thesis was researched and produced for XX missile guidance. It was installed in the root of the aircraft's vertical tail and the environment was more rigorous than that in the front radar storage. Therefore, small volume, low weight and good anti-vibration capability ware required. As a key part of radar system, the transmitter had a characteristic of high power density and high potential gradient, which caused big design difficulties.Based on the research of the transmitter, the project needs as well as domestic and international experience of transmitter structure design, a variety of situation considered and measures taken in the process of structure design were studied in the thesis.1. Around the telecommunication design of radar transmitter, and combined with the technical requirements, the overall design scheme, the composition and layout of the transmitter were discussed in detail.2. Due to the importance of vibration control design, the methods of vibration control design and the strength simulation of the key components were described. Vibration and impact experiments were carried out and the result was analyzed.3. combined with the thermal design principles and the thermal design requirements of the transmitter, the methods and calculations of thermal design as well as the experimental data were discussed.4. The choice of the insulation materials used in high voltage power supply, the insulation strength, and the structure design considering high voltage insulation were discussed.5. The design methods in terms of electromagnetic compatibility and three proof of the airborne radar transmitter were discussed.
