Automotive Automatic Transmission Parts Manufacturing Technology

Abstract/Summary:
The continuously development of global manufacture industry has brought great material wealth; however, it also left the world lack of energy and resource and environment destroyed. In order to ease the pressure on the human environment, there is a new concept of remanufacturing in the mechanical equipment field. The quality of remanufacturing product is equal of or not bad of the new one, and generally the cost is about 50% of new one, and saves the quantity of energy that used about 60%, material about 70%.In this paper it mainly to research the effect on repaired parts of automobile transmission with two kinds of remanufacturing techniques to improve the state of the parts. At first it reports the current development of automobile remanufacturing in and abroad the country and made some survey at the transmission site which was authorized by the nation; then it introduces some kinds and structures of automobile transmissions, elaborates the common wear form and analysis the wear mechanism; as the form and mechanism are different, it arranged the cold fusion at room temperature technology and the invert and variable pulse electrical brushing plating technology experiments. In the experiment of the cold fusion at room temperature technology repair, it analysis the transformation of tissue by metallurgical microscope, to improve the surface performance by utilizing the high-carbon steel and 65Mn steel which material can achieve Martensite with high strength and hardness; the fill material and matrix are metallurgical bonding, which is suitable for poor condition mechanical parts. In the invert and variable pulse electrical brushing plating technology experiment, after repair there are many Cauliflower-like organization dense and uniform under the metallurgical microscope; there are some kinds of Micro-nano-particles in the brush plating solution with little quantity, which can improve the resistance of wear; the hardness and bonding state are good, which were detected by test. After applying this two kinds of remanufacturing technology to automobile transmission shaft repair test, we can come to a conclusion that this two kinds of remanufacturing technology can achieve results as good as new, and meet the remanufacturing standards.
